DADISMS

An Unlikely Journey Inspired by a Father’s Wisdom

Every Mile Is A Story, Every Dadism A Lesson

More than a memoir

Dadisms weaves together life lessons learned through family, adversity, running, reinvention, and personal growth with the timeless wisdom of his father. Gary L. Chatham shares stories that reveal how a few simple words can provide guidance, perspective, and encouragement when life's path becomes uncertain.

Dadisms is a tribute to the people whose words continue to shape our lives long after they’ve been spoken.

Every mile can make a difference

Dadisms has always been about more than telling my story. It’s about the people, experiences, and lessons that have shaped the miles along the way.

That’s why I’ve proudly supported Team In Training through the years and its mission to help create a world without blood cancers.

On September 12, I’ll celebrate the release of Dadisms with a special book signing and fundraiser benefiting Team In Training. 100% of my author profits from qualifying book purchases made through this fundraiser will be donated to Team In Training.

And those dollars will go twice as far. Race To Cure Lymphoma will match those proceeds dollar-for-dollar, along with qualifying direct donations made through the September 12 fundraiser.

Can’t attend? You can still be part of the story.

About the Author

Gary makes his literary debut with Dadisms, a powerful memoir reflecting a father’s enduring wisdom. When not exploring the roads in their RV, Gary and his wife, Linda, live near St. Louis, Missouri.

A lifelong runner, Gary enjoys logging miles on trails and taking on demanding races. He also finds satisfaction in building woodworking projects and welcoming feathered visitors to his feeders and custom-built birdhouses. In quieter moments, he enjoys the mental challenge of Sudoku.
